Snow in Cache Valley
Here in Cache Valley, snowfall is pretty consistent during the winter. We usually get one, maybe two big storms that drop 6-10 inches per winter. Aside from that, it’s mostly just cold. On other occasions when it snows, it’s usually never more than 1-2 inches, if that. This means that shoveling snow is a regular, but rarely onerous task. It’s one that needs to be done, though. If you leave even an inch or two of snow on the sidewalk, foot traffic and cars will pack it down and form dangerous ice patches.
You don’t want to spend too much time on it, do you? You want to get it done with quickly and efficiently so you can spend more time inside where it’s warm. Well, we’ve got the tool for you.
The Snow Caster
The snow caster shovel is the tool that we’ve come to rely on at CV Lawn King. In general, we find that it cuts the time spent shoveling in half. You won’t have to spend extra time tossing snow away once the shovel fills up because of it’s special design. It uses the same basic principle as a snow plow, but made to be used by individuals for walkways. The angled blade pushes snow off to the side, so the shovel never fills. It’s head flips over so that you can control which direction the blade pushes snow towards, giving you full control over where it goes.
Furthermore, the shovel also has wheels on it. This lets you rest it on the ground while you do the work. It reduces strain from lifting and pushing, so you don’t have to worry about back-aches and sore arms. You’ll be less tired after you finish, leaving you feeling better for the rest of the day.
Even assembly is pretty fast. It takes us less than 10 minutes to put it together and its simple instructions are good enough that even a child could do it (with some supervision, naturally).
Good For Home Driveways
If you have a home in Cache Valley, you know that you’ve got to get on snow removal fast. If you leave even a couple of inches sitting, it creates a hazard. Your family could slip on it and injure themselves, leading to expensive hospital bills. Even if slipping isn’t a problem, nobody wants to walk on a sidewalk that has snow in it. It soaks your shoes and makes your feet cold, unless you wear heavy boots that aren’t exactly the most comfortable to walk in.
The snow caster gives you an edge there. By cutting the time it takes to shovel your walkways in half, you can make your home safe for everybody that much faster.
